As a content creator, CJ McGillivray has four years of experience as a social media manager along with two years of experience as a writing tutor. This combination of unconventionally related jobs gives her an edge in communications. One job involves coaching writers to increase the clarity and coherency of their arguments while the other job involves writing concise, energetic marketing materials to drive engagement and sales.

Whether she is reviewing a thesis statement or writing a call to action for an email newsletter, she pushes for greater clarity, brevity and cleverness. Working with a variety of different writers at various skill levels also helps her understand the nuances of different brand voices and replicate them in a creative and consistent way. She takes a personal, conversational approach whenever possible and appropriate.

Her copywriting expertise includes creating content for social media channels, print advertising, email communications, blog articles, landing page content, video descriptions, press releases and proposals.
