Any Night

Black and white line art drawing of a heart beat on a heart monitor, creating the vague shape of a skyline.

When Anna, a troubled modern dancer moves into a new basement suite for solace and solitude, she finds herself drawn into a tender relationship with the helpful young man living above her. But why is she suffering violent behaviour in her sleep? As her night terrors and sleepwalking intensify, the pair are sent down a spiral of fear and are soon caught in fracturing timelines – from a night spent observed in a sleep clinic to a violent dream. Anna must sort reality from dream and past from present and future, or she may never wake up. Any Night was produced by Stone’s Throw Productions in July 2015 at Pacific Theatre.
